About Us

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by my shop! My name is Lauren. I used to be an elementary teacher, and I know you’re probably wondering, ‘Wait! Did I read that right? She’s a former elementary teacher! How did she end up here?’ That’s a great question! The school system was getting out of hand, and I needed to escape! So, I packed up my dream and my whole world and moved it right back home.

I now teach and tutor online and in person, and I also have this little boutique!

My husband and I live on the family farm with our two silly dogs Hank and Huxley (they are father and son). Lets’ just say, they act like us! Along with farming, we also have a diesel shop. When I’m not teaching, tutoring or attending to my store, you’ll find me outside with the boys, in my garden, or baking!

In case you couldn’t tell by the name of the store, Orchids are my favorite flower! Want to know a little secret? Orchids are supposed to be the hardest flower to kill! But guess what? Your girl right here, can kill them within 3 days (no joke)! I didn’t know that you are only supposed to water them with an ice cube EVERY 3 days. Unlike what I was doing, I was giving them ice everyday! So there you have it!
